My next craft show is almost here and I’m really excited to say that I have been chosen to exhibit this April at Abingdon Spring Craft Show.

ACF Craft fairs have announced the return of the Spring Contemporary Arts, Crafts and Design Show held over four days in the exquisite Medieval Abbey Buildings in Abingdon, Oxfordshire. The show is open from Thursday 11th April to Sunday 14th April 2013 and entry is from 10am to 5pm daily except Sunday which is open until 4:30pm.

The Abingdon Spring Craft show is an opportunity to indulge yourself completely and re-invent the pleasure of shopping. Take in the atmosphere of the historic building whilst viewing carefully selected exhibitors chosen for their individuality of work and authenticity of design.

The selection of crafts include handmade furniture, leather goods, pottery, painting, sculpture, clothing and not to mention handcrafted jewellery. All offering the chance to purchase unique pieces and gifts not available on the high street and selected for Abingdon Spring Craft Show. Flower Earrings Ready for Spring

The days are getting longer, the lambs are in the fields and the daffodils are trying to burst through and it all makes me want to see new colours and see more flowers appear and I am sure you would too, so I bring you my selection of flower earrings ready for spring to enjoy colour and flowers even if it’s still snowing outside!!.

Silver Charms for Bracelet by Tesoro Handcrafted Jewellery

I think charm bracelets are a great idea and I am going to show you some of my silver charms for bracelet below. But first – why I have such found memories of charms – my Nanna had a bracelet with gold charms on and as a child I loved to look at them and listen to the noise they made hanging together. Now charms have moved on and you can clip them onto your bracelet or necklace and move them around as you please rather than them being soldered into place.

Puff Heart Silver Charms for Bracelet

The charm above is lovely sterling silver puff heart and looks great mixed with other silver charms for bracelet or necklace. Below are some of the other silver charms that I produce and all are fitted with 11mm sterling silver trigger clasps ready to go on your favourite bracelet. They are also a great addition to Thomas Sabo bracelets and necklaces.

Silver Charms for Bracelet with Freshwater Pearl, Sparkly Crystal and Open Heart

Wondering what they look like mixed with other charms for bracelets then see the photos below. The photo on the left shows my charm necklace with two silver charms and a coloured Murano glass heart charm and the coloured heart can easily be swapped for other colours creating a different necklace to match your various outfits. The photo on the right shows a charm bracelet with Murano heart charms and silver charms for bracelet mixed together to create a unique look.

Weedon Craft Market 10 March 2013

A quick post today for my first craft show of the year! A new event started at the end if last year the Weedon Craft Market focuses on handcrafted by the seller. There is a great mix of artists from knitwear, candles and soaps, furniture, chocolates, cakes and not to mention handcrafted jewellery.

Heart Keyrings

A love creating new gifts to accompany my handcrafted jewellery ranges and so I developed the heart keyrings. They are always a popular treat or gift to give not to mention being really useful.

Nero Heart Keyrings

Oh and aren’t they so pretty as well!! I use my medium Murano heart which are 20mm in size. During the process of hand making the heart they are solid glass except for the small hole running through them and once formed they are baked to harden them making them quite robust.

If you don’t want to use the heart keyrings on your keys then they also make a great bag decorations or zip puller. The rounded shape of the heart has a beautiful feeling in your hand making it a pleasure to use everyday.

Who doesn’t love beautiful red heart jewellery?

Red is always a popular colour but especially for heart shaped jewellery. Red is great for any time of year but is especially known for Valentine’s Day, so if you need any inspiration for a gift for your Valentine then look at the amazing red heart jewellery I have created below.

Red Heart Jewellery Earrings

The red hearts I use for all my jewellery are handmade in Venice by artists in lampwork and are produced in the same way they have been for hundreds of years. Each heart is individually handcrafted using glass rods and the ones I use have gold leaf inside to give them that extra depth and richness of colour, making beautiful red heart jewellery.
